Wednesday Wedding Package at Bateman's Barn
Ceremony, Reception and evening party for 60 guests - £130 per person
with extra 40 guests for evening at no extra charge
Package includes: Tuesday set up day. Barn and connecting marquee with cream lining and lighting, wedding co-ordination at the venue, catering/kitchen staff, loos, house disco, licensed bar and bar staff, courtyard, parking, garden terrace, grove and lawns, access to a ruin in Hall gardens for photographs, patio furniture, patio heaters, parasols, fairy lights in barn. Round tables and chivari lime wash chairs with cream seat pad, glasses, crockery, cutlery and white table linen for 60 guests. 60 glasses of house Fizz, 4 jugs of orange juice, canapés sandwiches, two course buffet, tea/coffee and wedding cake (choice available) half bottle of house wine per day guest and hot bacon rolls for total 100 evening guests and Honeymoon suite for Wednesday night. Does not include fee for registrars or flowers.
MIDWEEK SAVING
Holding your wedding mid week means a big saving on costs, over £30pp, and minimal worry as we provide all the essential elements and you can personalise they day with flowers, decorations and music. Although the menu is set the drinks package can be adjusted to suit your taste and there is a choice of wedding cakes from traditional to chocolate cup cakes.
You day can start from 1pm and run though until 11pm. If you use our venue for your ceremony, as well, you will need to pay the registrars a fee (£375 for 2012) to attend. You can contact them on 01502 405096 or email waveneyregistrars@suffolk.gov.uk to check their availability.
HOW THE DAY WOULD LOOK
1:30pm - Ceremony in the barn
2pm until 3:30pm - Celebration drinks and canapés in the gardens and courtyard.
3:30pm to 6pm - Reception in marquee with speeches and cake cutting.
7:30pm - Evening party in barn with house DJ evening guest arrive first dance.
9pm - Evening food served
11pm - Finish
DRINKS & MENUS
Celebration drinks and canapés – Adnams Fizz and orange juice with savoy canapés sandwiches: Smoked salmon, free range egg and cress, mature cheddar and caramelised onion chutney, ham and mustard and cream cheese and celery.
Two course buffet – South Elmham Organic Roast beef, Free range smoked chicken, Suffolk honey and mustard glazed ham, roast vegetable and goats cheese tart, new potato salad, greek salad, classic coleslaw, green salad, croutons, Caesar salad dressing, toasted pine nuts, French dressing, horseradish sauce and mayonnaise and a selection of organic breads and butter.
Strawberries and cream, lemon tart with fresh raspberries and fresh cream profiteroles with dark chocolate sauce.
Tea and coffee served with the wedding cake choose from traditional three tiered fruit, plain sponge or chocolate sponge all with marzipan and plain white icing decoration or Belgium chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.

EVENING PARTY
In the evening we serve delicious hot free range smoked bacon baguettes to all your guests, the bar is open serving a wide range of draft beers, lagers and ciders plus wines, spirits and soft drinks all our bar prices are in line with local pub rates.
Pay bar can be open thought out the day and evening.
Our house DJ is highly experienced has great lighting system which creates a wonderful atmosphere in which to celebrate your marriage.
