Receptions at Bateman's Barn
WEDDING RECEPTION
At Bateman's Barn our aim is to create a very relaxed family wedding day. We want everyone, from great Aunts to the tiny tots, to enjoy the food, eat heartily and above all relax in our lovely surroundings and feel at home.

We allow complete flexibility on numbers of guests and timetable for the day. Our largest wedding for 140 guests started on Friday and ended on Sunday afternoon with a picnic lunch in the grove. Our smallest wedding has been for 11 guests, which lasted for just an afternoon, we do adjust our venue hire fee for smaller events, email or call us for a quote. The barn has been renovated using natural and traditional materials creating a warm uncluttered light neutral space so you can create and set your own scene for the day.
Our chairs are plain lime washed wood with a cream seat pad and we have round tables which seat up to 10 guests. The barn comfortably seats 90 guests for both the ceremony and a wedding reception. If you use the marquee for reception then we can seat 100 guests and our maximum is 140 for the ceremony making use of the marquee and barn for the reception or for an extra fee the marquee can be extended to accommodate 140 guests for the reception.

ATMOSPHERE
The flowers, cake and decorations can be entirely organised by the couples and their family and friends. We can provide a list of local trusted suppliers including florist, cake makers, wedding cars, photographers etc. and we will be on hand the day before to take deliveries, set up and lay the tables and help where needed with all your personnel decorations.

You can have your reception in the barn(90 guests) or in the marquee(100 guests or extended marquee 140 guests)and on the day we will make sure the tables are ready for your guests by lighting candles serving wine and champagne and providing chilled mineral water.
Our staff will be discreetly on hand to serve wine and food, deal with any request like collecting drinks from the bar and generally keeping the tables looking good.
Catering cost include white crockery and silver stainless cutlery, white linen napkins and tablecloths and wine, water and champagne glasses.
